Jawaharlal Nehru's Infinite Wisdom

Who was real culprit in India’s loss in 1962 Indo-China War? If you ask this question to anyone who had seen the war or was alive during that time then his answer will be the then Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru. Jawaharlal Nehru showed trust in China also considered them as a brother. He also ignored the concern showed by various Army commanders about the Chinese Army’s activities near the border. The infinite wisdom of Jawaharlal Nehru cost 4000 of lives in 1962 Indo-China War. The worst decision taken by him was when he supported membership of China in UN Security Council which was originally offered to India. The decision taken by Jawaharlal Nehru ensured that during the war UN will not take any action as China was member of Security Council.  Certainly, lack of leadership led to a defeat which forced India to experience a long time trauma. 

Outcome of 1962 Indo-China War

1962 Indo-China war changed many things for China. It gave the confidence to the China to bully its neighboring countries and Asian continent.  But if India had taken advantage of Chinese weakness then the outcome of the war would have changed everything. If India had won the 1962 Indo-China war then: 1.        Tibet would have been easily liberated and sufferings of Buddhist monks would have reached an end. 2.        The dominance of China would have ended by India. China is bullying its neighboring countries except India. China has also become a major obstacle in the important trade route of South China Sea. Factors in Favor of India in 1962 Indo-China War

If today I say that India was in a position to win 1962 Indo-China War then you may laugh on me. But the fact which I am going to discuss with you will put some light on the factors which were in favor of India during 1962 Indo-China War but India failed to take advantage of it. In 1962, China was not in a position to win the war against India, and India was strong enough to confront China. Then what wrong in the winter of 1962 when India tasted a harsh defeat and lost the advantage to china which would have made lot of difference in 2012. There are following three main reasons which ensured that India lost the tactical advantage over China: 1.        Government of India didn’t pay attention to the alarm raised by various commanders of army deployed in the northern borders. Right Time to Honor Martyrs of 1962 Indo-China War

For the first time in past fifty years, Indian Government and Ministry of Defence has decided to honor martyrs of the infamous 1962 Indo-China war. It is surprising that Indian Government ignored the sacrifices made in the war. 1962 Indo-China war was a one of the bloodiest battle fought by India. There are several reasons and theory behind the ignorance of Indian Government to recognize the sacrifices made by the soldiers in 1962 Indo-China War. According to Defence Minister A.K.
