Who Vikram Batra!

“A Nation who forget its war heroes Doesn’t deserve to have a future” This isn’t my line; it is quoted by someone else. I really want god to bless me with good intellect to start phrasing such deep quotes. Anyways, I had read this quote 8 years back in Vizag during my visit to submarine museum. It has a deep meaning. Country that is not aware about the sacrifices, glory and act of courage will never get inspired to grow. It will get depleted with time. During 2 nd world war, US had several war heroes and the government of US ensured that they are not forgotten. The country has grown as super power and it dominates the world political scenario. Recently, I had a discussion with my friend about Indian Military Academy and discussion headed to ‘Sher Shah’ aka Captain Vikram Batra, PARAM Veer Chakra. I was shock with the fact that he wasn’t aware that who is Captain Vikram Batra, PARAM Veer Chakra. That actually made me wonders that there is seriously something wrong with

TOP 5 INDIAN MILITARY LEADERS

Any nation in this world since time immemorial cannot exist without leadership. Take a group, tribe or a country, people need leaders to endure. A leader has vision and pluck to take everyone on a path which will lead to certain objective and beyond. If you look back into history, there were kings with their state forces chiefs in a kingdom. Moving ahead in history, the required proviso for a king changed; for example in Mougal era, emperors before becoming emperors served with their army in provinces and led their army in battles. Lets come into modern era, most of the US presidents had undergone military training in their youth.  Leadership of a nation is based on two pillars in the modern era. The first pillar is politcal leadership and the other pillar is military leadership. Remove any of them and the spine of the country will break. Oh now you must be thinking that politcal leaders are corrupt and incompetent in a country like India. I don’t agree with you my friend, I

MEANING OF LOVE

What is love? This is one of the most difficult questions with no specific answer. I asked this question to different people of different age group to know meticulous meaning of love. A five year old boy described love as the sentiments he had for his mother. I asked a teenage girl and she described it as the crush she had for her school captain. A college student described the love as feelings for the hottest girl of the class and a 30 year old woman described love as the understanding she had with her partner. None of the answers matched with each other. So what is love? I decided to look for the answer on internet and found a poem written by Mrs Indu Mukund. This poem touched my heart, made me emotional and till now I have read eleven times. The poem describes her love for her late husband. She is wife of Major Mukund Varadarajan, Ashok Chakra (Posthumous). As I read the name of the army officer, it reminded me of the news which I had read and seen in magazine an

Bonobology: India's First Web Based Relationship Magazine

In December 2016, my friend faced an awful heart break and he was emotionally crushed. As good friend, I became his emotional support and did everything to drag him out of the present situation. As you already know that my inquisitive brain is never at rest and it led to further exploration of World Wide Web network to discover about the people who had faced similar kind of emotional chaos in relationships. I was looking for true stories to find the solution for my friend. My exploration came to an end very soon. I discovered an Indian website which was hot destination for couples. The website name is Bonobology . The name made me more curious, and I came to know that the title is inspired from the bonobo species of apes which can be considered as the species resembling human being in terms of DNA. This species has one remarkable character; they don’t believe in conflict. Hence, the moto of the web portal Bonobology   gets defined; to end the conflict between the couples an

Indian Government New Policy Reform

We all must have read about five year government plan in social sciences during our school days. It was a Nehru’s vision which was inspired or I should say copied from USSR policy of five year plan. As a policy reform, the current Indian government led by Prime Minister Narender Modi is going to introduce 3 year action plan which is part of the 7 years strategy and 15 year vision. As the new government is about to outdate the 5 year plan which is part of my school memory when I used to gulp it to score in exam, and which was shot-sure question to make as guest appearance in the question paper; Let us rewind our memories and cherish the impact it made in development of the country. 1.     It lifted social sector of India 2.     Gave birth to heavy industries in developing India. 3.     Government got systematic expenditure plan for every five years to methodically invest the people’s money for development. That is the reason, over the years we have seen slo

SECRET BEHIND JEWS SUCCESS

Few days back I swooped house of one of my friends. He has very huge library in his house with so many thought-provoking books. It feels like you are in heaven where you can find everything and anything in form of knowledge. My probe led me to this book named ‘The Jewish Phenomenon’ by Steven Silbiger. The title itself is stimulating enough to increase your oddity and eventually I borrowed the book. Previous night, I started reading the book and I was able to finish the book by noon. The book is schooling upon the phenomenon behind success of so many Jews. As I am from India, and I have hardly met any Jew; I have no Idea of their success list. I made some research and I would love to share top 10 most prominent people who were Jews. I am very sure that this list will surprise you as much as I was startled by seeing familiar names. So here we go.                             ISRAEL Even the birth of Israel in itself is a success story of Jews. So what is t

Is There Real Need of Ram Mandir or Mosque in Ayodhya?

Prime Minister Narender Modi has materialized as robust leader which this nation needed from a very long time. People throughout the country are flabbergasted by his solid nation edifice policies. As a result, overlooking victory in the state assembly election of Uttar Pradesh was achieved by BJP. I believe in chaos theory, according to which one random event leads to another and another and in the end a pattern emerges. Isn’t it a coincidence that Swami Adityanath Yogi got elected as chief minister of UP, followed by which he announced that he will make Uttar Pradesh as Uttam Pradesh which will be based on the apparition of Prime Minister of India, and followed by which Supreme Court suggested fresh endeavours to be made to settle down Ayodhya Temple row outside court. Temple was not highlighted by BJP as election whoopla but as soon as it came in power, the religious issue is once again in newscast. Supreme Court termed the temple dispute as syrupy matter.
