On 10th nov 2010,  One Mig-27 aircraft of IAF crashed near Jaitpur, about 60 Kms South of  Jodhpur  on  10 Nov 2010 , at about 1320 hrs. The aircraft was airborne from  Jodhpur  air base on a routine training sortie. The pilot ejected safely.  A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the reasons of the accident.
