Movie Review of Badrinath ki Dulhania

Good one week has passed away after the release of Badrinath ki Dulahania movie. Making money on the success of Humpty Sharma ki Dulahania which was a huge success on box office; there were lot of expectation from the movie. To be very honest, the lead actors were bang on in meeting the expectation with their hard work and smooth acting but the story line was weak. I was glued to the screen with the intense acting of Alia Bhatt along with the comedy quotient of Varun Dhawan. I will not hesitate to say that Varun Dhawan wants to achieve the success which Govinda achieved in this industry. He is a very talented actor and he has earned lot of fans all over the country. Though, despite of good acting, the story is not good enough. It made me to rethink of the decision of watching this movie. Supporting actors has less screen presence and the director was more obsessed with the lead characters. There is a point in the movie when you are done watching both of them. Songs are go...

Dangal Is Not less than a Poetry on Silver Screen

“What poetry!” was the first thought passed through my mind after watching opening 10 mins of Dangal. Few days back, I wasn’t able to plump that should I watch this movie or not. I am not fan of Amir Khan but yes, his prodigy in marketing and cinema making makes him virtuoso. If he gets a worthy team, he can take the eminence of cinema presented to a new level. If he gets second-rate mates then he can twist the fate with his skills of marketing and media management. Indeed, he is a whiz kid but probably not the preeminent actor. I know, my previous line will not win the preponderance but that is my personal opinion. Poster of Movie Dangal Falling back, to the movie ‘Dangal’, in starting ten minutes itself I was mighty mesmerised with the initial plot, drama and direction. But in Indian cinema, most of the movie starts on an imposing note but ends as a cataclysm. The next thought was, ‘God! Is it going to linger like this or I will end up in another disappointment’. ...

Movie Review: Dil Dhadkne Do

I am big movie fan and watching movies on a regular basis from past two decades. Over the years I have realized one thing that Bollywood has grown commercially. Producers are no more sufferers as they are aware about the business tactics to recover the money which they are investing in Bollywood cinema. If any of the producers is not aware then they have sufficient money to hire someone who is aware about the tactics. In modern world, Chankya can be hired and several such Chankya are ready to get hired after completing education from business school. Don’t think that I am student of philosophy or I am into lot of reading. Movie: Dil Dhadkne Do made me realize all this fact. After release it has stayed houseful for seventy two hours which ensured that all money is recovered. The movie has a funny and short story which Zoya Akhtar tried to stretch for two hours by utilizing the cinematography skill in really beautiful way. It is a sweet family story which you can watch for ...

LeKar Hum Deewana Dil: Not For Oldies, Welcome to Youngster's era

Lekar Hum Deewana Dil directed by Arif Ali is not for oldies. It is for the youngsters who has gone through the identical phase. I am not flabbergasted to see so many bad reviews about the movie and it is because of our movie critics growing older. The story is about Dino and Karishma, who are classmates and crystalize up really good. The story revolves around these two, their love and how they end up marrying each other. May be it is not sounding awesome, but trust me, if you had a love story during your teenage or college days, you will love to see this immature love story. Kindly don’t read any other reviews which are revealing most of the plot of the movie. Go fresh mind, expecting sheer entertainment. It will bring tears in your eyes, if you loved someone truly. Armaan Jain has given his best at the starting of his career and he is emerging to be a promising chocolate boy of the industry. It will be interesting that how he is going to cope with the versatile ...

Movie Review: The Lost Battalion

So finally, after lot of recommendations, I decided to watch this movie ‘The Lost Battalion’. Very conventional story about the audacious feat of American combatants during the Second World War. The story gyrates around an American battalion which has been apportioned the task to go deep in the German defences and hold the ground and it will be given flank support by French and American forces. The movie shows how more than six hundred men entered into battle and only few came back. The movie has covered the scuffle scenes in exceedingly realistic modus. I am sure the complete production team had done lot of study to portrait real mêlée scenes. Amazed to see the right tactical method used in the movie. At the end it also shows the men and officers relationship. It is a must watch movie and one should assuredly see. It can be a good learning experience for apprentices of defence management and military science.

Movie Review: The Pirates of Silicon Valley

Previous night I was viewing a motion picture known as ‘The Pirates of Silicon Valley’. The title itself gives a clue that it is going to be associated to the IT sector. As the movie starts we meet Steve Jobs played by Noah Wyle. The solemnity of the story is Steve Jobs and his small journey of starting the venture which is worldwide known and then getting fired from his own company. But this movie seems like more of anti-Microsoft propaganda. If a movie has a villain then in this movie it is Bill Gates played by Anthony Michael Hall. It shows how the idea of windows is inspired or in terms of movie stolen from the apple. The movie could be better by showing the parallel emergence of both the rivals Microsoft and apple. But it was more the show off apple incorporation trying their best to prove that they were the small pirate in Silicon Valley, it was the Microsoft who exploited the friendship and trust of Steve Jobs. The story ...
