In the first half of the year, Philippines received more than two million of tourists. Department of tourism of Philippines is targeting to increase number of tourist arriving in the country to ten million by the year 2016. The arrival of two million tourists in Philippines during starting six months of this year is good news. According to Deputy Presidential spokesperson, Abigail Valte, approximately 2.14 million tourists visited this beautiful country from January to June in the year 2012.
