No Interviews For Jobs: The New Initiative of PM

I was going to my next target on Sunday morning and I was discerning that what a way to spoil your Sunday. My driver Jaswinder was also going through the same sentiment as I spoiled his Sunday. Honestly, I love screwing happiness of people, you can term me as sadist but I will call myself with more appropriate word ‘moody’. Jaswinder switched on the radio and I heard a very familiar voice. After few minutes of analysis done by my senses, I realized that the voice is of Prime Minister Narender Modi speaking on some issue. Prime Minister made an important announcement which left me in shock. He announced that there will be no interview procedure in the selection of people for the government jobs of Group B, Group C and Group D. When I did some research then I found that many political parties are against it and showcasing that it is a trick to end the reservation. Yesterday, Prime Minister of India, Narender Modi had interaction with numerous IT magnates of United States such as Facebook, Google and many more. He deliberated his vision of digital India and flourished to persuade these world leaders of information technology to contribute to fulfil his vision of digital India .  Suddenly, in evening the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg changed his Facebook profile picture to a new one in which tricolour of Indian flag was part of it. He did this in support of digital India , which implies a direct support from the one of the most efficacious IT giant. In his support, Prime Minister Narender Modi also changed his profile pic with the new picture of tricolour in it. PAKISTAN SET FOR NEXT PEOPLE'S REVOLUTION

Islamabad: The time may have come for an Anna Hazare type campaign against corruption in Pakistan, the Dawn newspaper said on Thursday. An editorial in the mass circulation paper said that parallels can be drawn between India and Pakistan on the issue of corruption. "Pakistan is perceived as corrupt not just by the public mindset but also in the findings of international watchdogs that keep track of such matters," it said. The editorial said "the time may have come for the same sort of dissent in Pakistan... Other voices too must be raised if we are serious about salvaging society." The Dawn also asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to realise that many in India were beginning to peacefully rise against corruption. "Anna Hazare has added a dynamic new twist to the corruption allegations plaguing the government in New Delhi," it said. Independence day celebration at red fort

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will unfurl the National Flag from the ramparts of the Red Fort on August 15, 2011 to celebrate the 65th Independence Day. After unfurling the Tricolor, Dr. Manmohan Singh will address the nation. On arrival at Lahore Gate of Red Fort, the Prime Minister will be received by the Defence Minister Shri AK Antony, Minister of State for Defence Shri MM Pallam Raju and Defence Secretary Shri Shashikant Sharma. The Defence Secretary will introduce the General Officer Commanding, Delhi Area, Major General Manvender Singh to the Prime Minister. The GOC Delhi Area will then conduct the Prime Minister to the Saluting Base where a combined Inter-Services and Police Guard will present general salute to the Prime Minister. Union Budget 2011-12 highlights

Finance Minister Pranab Mukharji In the Union Budget 2011-12, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee announced higher tax exemption limit of Rs 1.8 lakh for individuals and further benefits to senior citizens, additional services into the tax net and withdrawal of duty exemption on some items. Other major proposals included bank licences to new private sector players, speeding up of various financial sector reform bills and a disinvestment target of Rs 40,000 crore for the next fiscal. Here are some of the major announcements: *Tax exemption limit raised to Rs 1.80 lakh, from Rs 1.60 lakh, for general category individual tax papers. *For senior citizens, the qualifying age reduced to 60 years; tax exemption limit raised to Rs 2.50 lakh. *Over 80-year old senior citizens to get Rs 5 lakh exemption limit. *Tax surcharge for companies cut to 5 per cent, from 7.5 per cent. *Deduction of Rs 20,000 from taxable income for investment in long-term infra bonds extended till next fiscal. *A...
