Who was real culprit in India’s loss in 1962
Indo-China War? If you ask this question to anyone who had seen the war or was
alive during that time then his answer will be the then Prime Minister of India
Jawaharlal Nehru. Jawaharlal Nehru showed trust in China also considered them
as a brother. He also ignored the concern showed by various Army commanders
about the Chinese Army’s activities near the border.
The infinite wisdom of Jawaharlal Nehru
cost 4000 of lives in 1962 Indo-China War. The worst decision taken by him was
when he supported membership of China in UN Security Council which was originally
offered to India. The decision taken by Jawaharlal Nehru ensured that during
the war UN will not take any action as China was member of Security Council. Certainly, lack of leadership led to a defeat
which forced India to experience a long time trauma.
