The Breavement Train

India is a country where wandering from one place to another is a unique know-how. Travel by train or bus or flight, every single time it will be a new familiarity, a new escapade. This vacation, I just assumed of hitting Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan and well branded as The Pink City. Boarded a train from Delhi and it was an uncommon hours of passage to reach Jaipur. All the way through the voyage there was some clamor on the roof of compartment. I thought either Ethan Hunt of Mission Impossible is leaping or belligerent on the roof or there is some serious delinquent. When I reached Jaipur, I saw hundreds of people sitting on the roof of train and traveling. I had seen this kind of situation when I was young, but now a days it is quite rare people traveling on the roof. These people are not less than any super hero or James Bond. Train moving at fast speed, passing through thought-provoking terrain and weather, it is remarkable to see these peo...

The Venomous Cycle

Numerous people are slumbering and condemning partisan leaders for the dawdling tumor of nation. But among these sleeping personas there are few who are not just talking but gritty to change the course of history. This new league of voters is the YOUTH. According to a survey approximately fifty percent of voters are in an age group of eighteen to nineteen years in the nation’s capital. Another example is of Telangana and Seemandhra where huge number of youth came forward to utilize their clout of vote to do something for the nation. The clout of youth can drive this nation towards glory. Almost sixty five percent of Indians are below thirty five years of age. The world is going to see the change driven by the youth of the largest democracy in the world. Youth is sentient about the major issues creating problems in the development of the nation. First of all, the corruption followed by inability-inefficiency of the government and ignorant about the accountability. Youth...

The Clandestine Escape to Siliserh Lake

My expedition of desert had come to culmination. I was again busy with the mundane drudgery and with the initial enthusiasm, my curiosity was reaching to bereavement as I don’t like to stay inside four walls under a roof. I strongly sense that the realm is not inside the concrete walls but it is outside which I want to see and involve. Its callousness which is more gorgeous than the Miss World and its mollycoddle nature which is not less than cosset of a mother. So clandestinely with my driver I escaped to see nature’s beauty pooled with the human touch. I touched this lake which is just outside the Alwar city in Rajasthan. It is known as Siliserh Lake. The best time to go to this lake is in evening an hour before sunset so that you can see the sensitivity of sun in the clear water of the lake. It is located in the Valley of Aravali Mountains. As you close down to the lake after crossing couple of village, you find yourself between the two mountains covered with ...

The Travel Fiction

Everyone has some fantasy, get-up-and-go reverie. As an itinerant plus not less than a gypsy, I too have a fantasy. What is difference between the fantasy and trance? Fantasy is the pensive, something which is not lifelike and trance is an all-encompassing word which comprises saneness as well as the imaginings. I don’t know, should I call it as fantasy or a trance. I know one thing that I will put efforts one day to make it tangible. So my travel fantasy is traveling thousand kilometers on road with a backpack visiting every single village, town or city on the way. The intention is to know the realm more profoundly. I know it is difficult but not impossible. Amazing aptness, imperturbability combined with will power is required. Thousand kilometers is comparatively less. I am sure there must be individuals who must have done this crazy traveling before. I strongly believe in one thing that with planning and adequate groundwork, anyone can turn ca...

The Enigmas of Dhani

When for the first time I entered the real desert of Thar, driver of the truck in which I had taken the lift, informed me that small settlements at which I was staring are dhani. After informing me, he focused on driving but I was still in bewilderment that what it means. What is a dhani? Out of nosiness I questioned the truck driver, he told me that dhani is just a small settlement of clans of Thar. These clans are amazing. Less than five families stays in a dhani. Their homes are made up of wild bushes and mud. As in this expanse less than hundred centimeters of deluge fall is witnessed annually, these houses are not at the peril of getting washed away. To my surprise, when I intermingled with the people of couple of dhani, I came to know that they are not deprived, they all are millionaires. Each family has more than five hundreds of cattle and they take out milk and supply it to the city of Jaisalmer. Farfetched fact is that their living standards doesn’t project the...

The Color Mutable Spider

Throughout my four months of protracted expedition of reconnoitering Thar, in the end I found a place to stay for a while. I am weary at this point of passage, but still I am so much in adoration with the sand. Erudite so many things about the sand, populaces, gust, flora and fauna. I just don’t want to go away from this place but my body is not supporting me. Now, I need rest. One month long break in store for me. With all these contemplation in my cognizance, I got down of my bed and started moving towards bathroom to take shower to get rid of the heat. I saw a spider inside my bucket which brought a big smile on my lips. I grabbed out my mobile phone to capture this funny creature who was trying to subsist from the heat by hiding in my bucket. As soon as I took my phone nearer to this spider, it changed its color from sandy brown to red as if it was set on fire. This was a new familiarity. I don’t know if apprehensive researcher...
