Owning up is a difficult thing, may be the most difficult
thing of saying ‘yes, I have done it or it is my mistake’. I feel it in a
different way; owning up is difficult when you have done a mistake, on the
other hand if you have done something great then you will feel great to own up
and let the world know that it was you who created difference.
If you read history, the man who achieved success in a way
which looked like larger than life were the one who had guts to own up when
they were wrong. How owning up makes a difference? When you own up then it
implies you have realized your mistake and you desire to improve with more
determination compared to the situation when you don’t own up but knows that
you have made a mistake and you think that you will not repeat it next time but
presently owning up is not the solution.
‘Owning up’, is in it sounds such a strong word that it is
difficult to execute. Even when I am
thinking of this, my heart beat increases. I have owned few times and I regretted
at that point but later on it made me a stronger persona. It helped me to live
life with a confidence which I would have lost if I wouldn’t owned up when I made
mistake in college or when I got credit for a work done by someone else.
Do you have enough guts to OWN UP! If yes, cheers buddy and
if no cheers buddy; it isn’t that difficult.
