The Real Obstacle for India to Attack Pakistan

Few days back, Indian Army carried out invasive foray on the terrorist camps across the line of control in Pakistan occupied Kashmir slaying 35 terrorists. Few months back, Indian Army launched an operation to capture the insurgent group leader of Manipur and crossed the International border and entered Myanmar and dragged him back successfully in own territory. What was common in both the operation? Nil casualties!

After the famous surgical strike, the war clouds are in the sky, and both the countries are preparing for conventional war. This also kindled a deliberation among military sages and correspondents that considering intimidation of China, should India go on war? China has come in sustenance of Pakistan by issuing menace of launching attack on the eastern front of India, in case of war with Pakistan.

China cannot think of going on war with India and it has several ins and outs. I know what you are thinking, ‘oh come on’, but I request you to give me your next ten minutes in which I will enlighten you with facts and diplomacies which may change your opinion.

ECONONMY

China is a reformist economy and over the years it has apprehended that to be a world power it needs a resilient economy. China is eyeing on African continent to expand its business by entering African infrastructure industry. Also, over the years china has urbanized telecom industries which are also trying to expand in African continent. A war with India will push China economy 30 years back which implies it has to work further 60 years to build an empire which can be considered as world power. US are the best example; war with Taliban and conquest of Iraq led its economy to clatter and also pushed the world in one of the vilest phase of depression after 1929.

ANTIQUITY
Oh I am really sorry; I showed you the future without even giving a brief intro of the bygone. Why we lost in 1962 by China? The reason is that Indian Army was not prepared to fight a war against China and never expected a fight on the Chinese front. Indian Army was poorly equipped because of the low financial budget. After 1948, government started degrading Indian Army and didn’t focus on its modernisation. On the other hand, China started preparing for the war in 1959 and after 3 years of groundwork it launched the surge of attacks on India.

Now, the Indian Army is not in the same state of 1962. Indian Army is continuously concocting for the conventional war as it is the primary job of the organisation. Continuous international military exercises with the armies of different countries have made Indian Army sturdy. A technologically well-equipped and learnt military leader is another pro.

In 1972, Vietnam defeated China, which is comparatively weaker than Indian Army. It only implies that China is not unconquerable as it is always exhibited in media.

DEFENCE FINANCIAL PLAN

China portrays that it is spending lot of money on its defence and I am not denying it. They are actually doing it but they haven’t increased salary of the soldiers which has reduced morale of the People’s Liberation Army. China has tried to invest more on equipment and did not uplift the living standards of its own army. On contrary, Indian Army is spending money on the equipment and also on soldiers. Morale of the army concludes the victory and even the poorly equipped army with high morale has defeated armies who were well equipped but with low morale.

COUNTERFEIT UNDERTAKINGS

Oh crap! I am being blunt. China has this policy of making fake promises. In 1965, China assured that in case of war with India, China will open the eastern front. With this confidence, Pakistan declared war on India and rest is history. Pakistan kept waiting that China will open the front and it never happened. Result of 1965 fake promise: India captured approx. 2000 sq. km of area of Pakistan and Pakistan captured approx. 400 sq. km of India. India who was poorly equipped and technologically backward than Pakistan pulled out a statistical military victory over Pakistan.

In 1971, China again assured Pakistan that it will create international political pressure on India and also it will open eastern front if needed to mount pressure on Indian Army to commit its forces outside East Pakistan. This promise was never fulfilled and the result of the fake promise of China; India became first country to divide a sovereign country into two and liberate a nation.

In 1999, this time China even did not cared to make a fake promise and offered no military support to Pakistan during Kargil War. May be China was fed up of making fake promises and this time the China government decided to do things differently.

In 2016, once again China has promised Pakistan. I know few of geniuses will say that China may do it this time. I think you should start watching BBC; China has entered Syria and committed its major chunk of troops in Syria. This only implies that, China is not in a position to open a new front on its own border against India.

INTERNAL GLITCHES

China is facing turbulence in its own country. The Muslim population, who are in minority, is not happy with the government policies and there are violence cases in the region along Republic of China. China has also committed its Army in such region and the operational responsibility of People’s Liberation Army is more and it is not in a comfortable position to commit its forces to attack India with an intention to fulfil the hopes of Pakistan.

Now, it is your astuteness to decide that we can be on war with Pakistan or not by considering the threat of China on our eastern frontiers.

The Battle of Longewala

After drifting for approximately thousand kilometers from Alwar, I have reached Longewala. This place romanticizes me allot. The battle of Longewala a legend in itself. It is located at 120 kms from city of Jaisalmer. Only way to reach this place is boulevard and if you are tourist then you have to hire a cab. Longewala is prevalent because of the illustrious skirmish tussled between India and Pakistan in 1971. The clash of Longewala is all about how hundred odd men clogged and overwhelmed approximately 2000 Pakistani legionnaires. This battle was all about the audacity, impetus, chauvinism and drive to prizefight exhibited by those eighty Indian warriors. This scuffle is one of my favorite scuffles, and whenever I come to this place, my mind start envisaging how horde of men repudiated the destiny. During the Indo-Pak war of 1971, A-Coy of 23 Punjab had taken up the defences at Longewala. The A-Coy company commander was Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri later on emer...

IS THIS TRUTH OR ANOTHER COMEDY BY PAKISTAN ARMY????

Kashmir War 1947 - 49 By November 1947 Auchinleck, Supreme Commander based in New Delhi, being convinced that Indian Cabinet was seeking to destroy and undo Pakistan by economic and military means, was forced to resign. As the build-up of Indian forces in Jammu and Kashmir continued, Pakistan Army units were being hurriedly organized and equipped without any base for manufacture of ammunition, signal stores, equipment or vehicles. Simultaneously, Pakistan National Guards were raised from ex-servicemen and other volunteers along border areas to provide a second line of defence. By February 1948 Indian build up in Jammu and Kashmir reached five brigades plus, under two full-fledged division Headquarters. Our 101 Brigade, commanded by Brigadier Akbar Khan was rushed into the critical front to forestall and halt the Indian offensive along Uri-Muzaffarabad axis. In April 1948, Commander-in-Chief Pakistan Army appreciating the threats in the north along Muzaffarabad-Kohala...

INDIAN AIR FORCE ADOPTS 'GO GREEN TREND'

Mission Accomplishment Paramount Even as IAF Initiates ODS Alternatives in Weapon Systems The Indian Air Force (IAF) is adopting a multi-pronged strategy to combat ozone depletion including limiting the use of Halon to mission critical uses, tighter control laws and incorporating accountability towards phase-out of ODS (Ozone Depleting Substances) said Air Chief Marshal PV Naik while delivering the inaugural address at the two-day International Workshop on ‘Benefits of ODS Phase-out in Defence Forces’ organized by Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS), today. Air Chief Marshal P.V. NAIK While highlighting initiatives taken by the IAF, and encouraging alternatives, the Air Chief however, clarified, “Mission accomplishment remains paramount for the Armed Forces.
