Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi made a glorious visit to
US which changed the political settings of South Asia. Pakistan was closely
looking at the proceedings and impressive foreign strategies of India. India
concentrated on economic relation with US and came one step ahead for defence covenants.
Pakistan has reconsidered its foreign policies and in an
aggressive mode Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has left the country on a
4 days US visit. The visit main agendas are:-
1. Defence
2. Counter-terrorism
3. Economic
4. Trade
5. Education
6. Health
7. Climate Change
Effect on India. Pakistan
visit’s main aim is to strengthen the relation with US and weaken the foreign
relations of India with US. In recent times, India’s aggressive foreign policies
have created fear in the mind of Pakistan.
Pakistan is facing economic crisis because of the terrorism.
It has also resulted into downgrade in trade. Pakistan will look forward to
attract the foreign investors and may give lucrative offers to invest in the
country. Terrorism is a major issue with which Pakistan is suffering and
fighting internal battles. It also affected the education in the country.
I am bit surprised with climate change on the list of
agendas. Pakistan should first concentrate on its own revival rather than
coming up as a country concerned about climate change and its affect. Stability
in the country is the major issue and after resolving the main issues they
should think about climate and changes and concerned issues.
