Modi’s Digital India Programme has left an impact on the IT
industrialists and one of the finest examples is Microsoft. Microsoft has
decided to bring technology of broadband to more than five lakhs villages of
India. The aim is to bring the global infrastructure in India not limiting to
only metro cities but also reaching the rural India.
Microsoft believes that India has the minds and skills to
leapfrog the world in the field of technology. Therefore, they are not in a
mood to miss the chance to be the part of technological revolution happening in
the largest democracy of the world.
Microsoft has long term plans to invest in the Indian
market. The first step was inventing cloud in India and the next step is to
provide Wi-Fi technology on several railway stations throughout the nation.
