I never cooked Beef, Please Don't Kill me

Morning, I woke up and it is a ritual made by me to check the statistics of my blog and the traffic sources. What people are reading on my blog and I expect that more than the old articles they are escalating my new work. I saw something unusual today; few of the visitors checked out one my three years old articles.

The article is about the recipe of beef stew. Well, I have never cooked it, but it was composed for one of my foreign clients who had requested for the recipe but later on did not like my work and rejected it. I don’t like my work to go as a discarded, so I published the article on my blog. I again reiterate my words, ‘I have never cooked the recipe’.

Now, you must be thinking why I am getting so apprehensive about the beef recipe? Actually, I belong to a country where the burning issue right now is ‘Beef eaters’. Calling themselves as the representative of one of the creeds in this country, they believe that it is unethical, whereas there are people irrespective of the religion like to have it (sorry, I am not aware who these people are). There are activists who are tracing people related to beef. According to some media reported, the ‘beef’ issue had also erupted in some minor incidences of ferocity in different location of India. I was watching news in which, localities killed a truck driver in disbelief that he was exporting cow. The emphasize made is on ‘suspicion’. Later on it was discovered that the ‘suspicion’ was baseless.

Sad, isn’t it? I hope my fear, my disquiet and drive not to die for such reasons, must be visible to you and the administration of the country. I may delete the post very soon because just a recipe may lead to settings which I fear is not suitable for me. Yes, I agree with former cabinet minister Arun Shourie, the situation in the country is a point of concern.
