THE SEA

                                            



In the twilight, when sun is about to swaddle into the clouds…
And At the beaches where these waves rises and falls
Progresses the breeze its journey towards haven
I settle down to relax my aching legs…
The sand at the touch of feet is grainy
The ongoing tides make it sublimely misty…
I look at the sea…
It’s so behemoth , placid and serene
Wondering if In its unfathomable depth I can just get lost
Red hue in the azure sky ….
Makes me ponder over what my life is?
As the sun bids goodbye ,
There is mist in my eyes
Because the sea  flashbacks whole of my life
Of people gone and people added
this heart aches in pain of those who left by
then there is laughter too
because of the people who joined by..
the whole scene looks as spiritual
as the sea always makes me overly emotional
I keep looking until the horizon
But when I chase it , it goes into hiding
For I believe from that day…
Some doubts should be left untangled

The Battle of Longewala

After drifting for approximately thousand kilometers from Alwar, I have reached Longewala. This place romanticizes me allot. The battle of Longewala a legend in itself. It is located at 120 kms from city of Jaisalmer. Only way to reach this place is boulevard and if you are tourist then you have to hire a cab. Longewala is prevalent because of the illustrious skirmish tussled between India and Pakistan in 1971.
