Telangana
is a result of family dispute. Yes, I am comparing this whole controversy which
dates back to the independence of India are full of family drama. Andhra
Pradesh which was formed by combination of few parts of Madras state and
Hyderabad state was a new formula for the development of not only the telugu
speaking majority but also to focus on the enlistment of the society in the new
born Indian nation.

But
the tussle to achieve a separate Telangana state started when politician
realized that they are in minority to form the government. This continued for
several years, by giving several reasons such as government partiality with
farmers, less job opportunity to the domicile of Telangana and young students
not able to get seats in engineering or medical colleges because non-domicile
of Telangana people snatching the opportunity. Such reasons were enough to
ignite fire for the division of the state in the common people.
The
great Osmania University became hub of this struggle to achieve separate state.
Politician turned this political struggle into the struggle of students. It
also took the picture of blood and fire in the Hyderabad city. It looked like
two brothers of same family want division. But Hyderabad, remained the center
of conflict. Both the parties wanted to have Hyderabad with them.

Finally
the government of India has come up with a solution of making Hyderabad as
union territory and capital of Telangana and separated Andhra. It is going to
be the saddest division of state in the country. But let us see if the
political parties will able to achieve their agenda of development or it will become
another story of political failure.
