Sachin Tendulkar Going to Receive Order of Australia



Australia, who had very poor diplomatic relations with India, is now looking to strengthen their diplomatic relations with the Asian country. Australia’s Prime Minister Julia Gillard is on three day visit in India and she is trying everything to improve foreign relations between the two countries. As one of the steps to improve the relations, she has decided to award India’s Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar with ‘Order ofAustralia’.

Sachin Tendulkar will become 2nd person from India to receive such a prestigious award. Recently Sachin Tendulkar also became Member of Parliament in India. Sachin Tendulkar is one of the most successful batsmen in Cricket. Sir Don Bradman once said to his wife that this boy (referring to Sachin Tendulkar) reminds me about me.

Sachin Tendulkar is regarded as one of the popular cricketers in Australia. Order of Australia is an honor which very few non-Australian citizens receive for their outstanding work in their respective field. Sachin Tendulkar is planning to get retired very soon and before his retirement order of Australia is going to be another record which Sachin Tendulkar has created by working hard and playing on top for more than twenty years. Sachin Tendulkar has also agreed to accept the Order of Australia.
