After
a stunning victory against England, India is all in a mood to celebrate and
gear up for their next match in the tournament. It is evident with the
statements of Dhoni that he is not at all in a mood to rest. ‘’Restless efforts
brings out desired result.’’ This line was said by an army officer and Dhoni
knows this line very well. But victory doesn’t mean that there are not weak
points in the team. One of the well-known weak points is Virender Sehwag.
Sehwag present form is not at all encouraging.
He is facing lot of criticism and many people even inside the team are raising their
team to throw him out of the playing eleven. But Sehwag is a man who can turn
the match on his own. A batsman with nil footwork, he is world’s most fearsome
batsman. He has the ability to destroy attacks within few overs. Remember, his
historical comeback in Australian series down under when whole team was facing
tragic situation and captain Anil Kumble showed faith in Sehwag’s ability and
on fast track of Perth he was able to destruct Australian attack.
Every player needs a chance and with couple
of game, one shouldn’t decide form of a cricketer. Wait and watch and Sehwag
will once again thrash the enemy.
