Review: Diablo 3 Classes

Diablo 3 has various classes in the game. Second version of Diablo had classes such as Amazon, Barbarian, Necromancer, Paladin and Sorceress. Druid and Assassin were introduced in later part of the game. Presently, five classes are known for Diablo 3 but there are possibilities that game developer may introduce more classes into the Diablo 3.




There are five classes in Diablo 3.
1. Witch Doctor
2. Barbarians
3. Wizard
4. Monk
5. Demon Huntera

New character added in the third version of Diablo is witch doctor. It is reminiscent of Necromancer of previous version of Diablo 3. Witch doctor has skills which are different from Necromancer and related with voodoo culture. It has many abilities that make Diablo 3 an interesting game. Witch doctor has the ability to cast curses, summon monsters, hurl poison, harvest souls and it can use explosives against its enemies.

Barbarians are still there in Diablo game series. Barbarians are popular among players for their combat style. They are basically melee fighter with various powerful abilities. Barbarians are capable of wielding and dual wielding weapons in this game. They also specialize in various types of weapons.  Barbarians are able to use whirlwind and leaping strikes. Fury is their energy resource. They generate this energy resource via attacking enemies. But the catch here is that to generate energy they need to be in combat all the time.


Wizard is the advanced version of sorceress. Wizard has several abilities which are useful against enemies. They have abilities such as casting fire, ice and lightning. They use these abilities against their enemies effecting terribly on status. This class is one of the very versatile classes of Diablo 3. A wizard can teleport and has the ability to slow time which is quite useful. Wizard uses arcane power to make their spells powerful.

Monk is also one of the classes in the newest version of Diablo series. In most of the game Monk’s power includes healing or supporting classes. But Diablo 3 has redefined class of Monk. In this game monk is a melee. Monk is like a combat fighter in Diablo 3. No one can imagine a Monk fighting in a video game. Monks specializes in martial arts. Monks are able to resist damages caused by weapons and enemies, they can cripple their enemies, the can deflect projectiles thrown on them. They have very interesting attacking abilities like they can attack with a speed of light and very strong blows which breakdown land surface.

Fifth class in Diablo 3 is Demon Hunter. Their main weapon is crossbow. Now you can imagine them as a wild hunter using crossbows to hunt down their foes. Demon hunter can also throw bombs smaller in size at enemies. But throwing bomb is a defensive act and not offensive. They are skilful in shooting arrow and chain of arrows on the enemies. Demon hunter is a disciplined class. But they are pumped up with hatred. Hatred is their fuel used for offensive blows. Discipline also fuelled them up for offense but is little slower in act compared with hatred.
