Akshardham: Modern Architectural Beauty

Akshardham, New Delhi I am not a orthodox religious person, but I do admire beautiful things. Akshardham Temple in National Capital Region of India, is one of the beautiful temple in the country. Its architectural design is quite significant. I have to admit that, initially I wasn't much curious to visit this beautiful place, but it was difficult to admire its beauty. Palika Bazar: A mystery!!!

Palika Bazaar   is an underground market located between the inner and outer circle of Connaught Place, Delhi, India. Palika Bazaar hosts 390 numbered shops selling a diverse range of items; however, the market is dominated by electronic items and clothing. Palika Bazaar was set up in the late 1970s, but since the 1980s it has seen a decline in customers, in part due to the opening of several new, modern shopping malls all over Delhi. Police conduct regular raids to recover stolen or pirated merchandise, but this has fail...

My time at Connaught Place

New Delhi is a city with so many things to see. I had less time, but I had to visit so many places in this city. My campaign started from center of city, that is, Connaught Place. Connaught Place , built in 1931, is one of Delhi's most popular shopping centres. There is nothing that one cannot buy here. It also has several eating-houses. The state emporia buildings are also located in this area so are the head offices of major banks, airlines and other such things of importance to the tourist. The complex, popularly referred to as  CP , is an important meeting point for all sections of people and is something. Even tourist don't miss it for nothing else then for its architecture and the humdrum of everyday life.
