After an arduous and tedious morning, I logged in to see
catch some newsflash, and the first thing which I discerned was ‘Karachi
airport attacked again’. The first thing which crossed my mind was; isn’t this
one is the 2nd phase of the attack? The reason for this assumed was
the interlude between the first attack and 2nd attack. During 2nd
world war, attacks were carried out in three stages. Phase 1, Phase 2 and phase
3 which is also called as ultimate phase of attack. The attack on Karachi
Airport is similar to conventional warfare mixed with guerrilla tactics. The time
cavity between these two attacks is less and it is palpable that Taliban does
not want to give chance to Pakistan to convalesce from the mutilation.
There are odds that the attack can be suicidal attempt by
the Taliban forces just to excavate the wound of the country which is suffering
failed security system. It will also craft chaos in the cognizance of the
people. People will surely lose buoyancy,
which can be a victory for Taliban. The other possible aim of the attack can be
capture of Karachi Airport. If this is the ultimate aim of the attack on
Karachi Airport, then Pakistan should be fortified for the final phase of the
attack. This kind of tactics is the amalgamation of conventional warfare and guerilla
warfare resulting into low intensity conflicts.
Let us see, how Pakistan is going to sustain this attack. Pakistan
has already been termed as the failed experiment as a nation. The biggest
question is, can Pakistan recover from the setback which is result of their own
low intensity conflict operation launched against India?
