Indian Army's 40 SSC Tech SSB Dates



Every year more than thirty thousands of engineers applies for SSC tech of Army. Similary, for 40 SSC Tech of Indian Army, thousands of engineers have applied so that they can live life of a commissioned officer with a technical job profile. If you have applied and wondering that when SSB interview dates of 40 SSC tech will be announced so that you can pace your preparation according to the that then you have landed on the right website. In this post we will tell you the approximate date at which SSB interview for 40 SSC tech will be conducted.

According to our sources, SSB interview dates for Indian Army 40 SSC tech will be announced in November last week or December first week. After releasing the list of short-listed candidates each SSB board will publish their respective SSB interview dates for 40 SSC tech of Indian Army.

For Bhopal, the SSB interviews of 40 SSC Tech is expected to start from 17th December 2012 and the absentee batches may be scheduled on 6th February 2013. Approximately, eight thousand candidates will get their call from SSB Bhopal for 40 SSC Tech and in each batch approximately 500 to 800 candidates will be called.

For Allahabad, the SSB interviews of 40 SSC Tech is expected to start from 3rd January 2013 and expected absentee batch will be organised on 28th of March 2013. Approximately 13000 candidates will be called to Allahabad in various batches for SSB interview of 40 SSC Tech. In each batch there will be almost 2000 candidates. That is a huge number and previously we have also seen candidates complaining about behavior of the selection board for calling such a huge number of candidates in single batches.

For Bangalore, the SSB interview of 40 SSC Tech is expected to start from 07th January 2013 and they will not inform about absentee batch. One can get call for absentee on informing the board about the reason of not appearing on the scheduled date. Approximately, 700 candidates will be called for each batch at Bangalore

The above dates are subjected to change in future but I am sure this will help you allot to pace your preparation so that you can clear SSB with flying colours.

    Sir,
    is there any percentage criteria for ssc tech to get the call please reply and i also wanna ask is like in tgc in online form it was written that those who are having a year back in engg is not eligible but this was not in ssc tech form does that means a year back student can apply pls reply fast...........

      no. . . at present there are no percentage criteria for SSC tech, but if in future Indian army headquarters decide to put any percentage cut off then we will update on this website. . . Yes, year back student are not eligible for SSC tech and TGC in army. May be in future they may allow. . .

      No dude, people with year back are not eligible for SSC tech, it was mentioned in the notification.

    dude for tgc a year back is not allowed because it was written on online form but for ssc it was nothing like that can u confirm please or send me some link

    it is confirmed from Army HQ. . . you can call them up on this number 011-23381125,011-23098543. You can call them up between 1000 HOURS To 1700 HOURS

    When our representative contacted them then inn their explanation to your query they said that TGC and SSC tech are parallel entries and conditions are similar for both.

    thanks bro,.....really upset now because i have my TGC ssb call letter in hand but can't go because of this any ways i have also give cdse 2 this time lets hope in one or other wayy ill join INDIAN ARMY.....but u know wat i think army should rule out this clause because they don't know may be many from those having a year back might have OLC....as there is always a shortage of officer ...listen can't we do any kind of request for this .

      Before this rule was not in place, yes you can quote your objection or your advise by writing an email to army recruitment cell. . . Yes you are right, people with year back can also have OLQ.
      CDSE is another way to enter defence, so give your best shot. I know you can make it!!

      Hi Ignited Minds, Indian Army HQ haven't released the dates of Bhopal and Allahabad for SSC 40 tech interview. As soon as they do, we will be the first one to update here.

      Till 6th semester candidate must have 63% to get shortlisted, that can be one of the reason. what was your percentage till 6th semester in B.Tech/B.E.

      In the notification it was mentioned that Indian Army Headquarters holds the criteria to shortlist candidates for SSB. So, in reference to the notification, they can change the rules.

    Hi Sir,
    I have been shortlisted for the SSB for ssc(t)-40.As per joinindianarmy website the primary date is 16th Jan,2013 and as per mail i received is 9th feb,2013.
    So on which date i should attend the SSB.As i need to travel from punjab to MP dont want to hear to come later or i am late.
    Kindly help
