There are very few bureaucrats in India who are able to leave a remarkable impact on India and its politics. One such person was Brajesh Mishra. Yesterday, Brajesh Mishra was found in unconscious state in his house at New Delhi and he was taken to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. It is a huge loss for India as Brajesh Mishra was one of the best bureaucrat which India had ever seen.
Brajesh Mishra is a name which is well known as India's first National Security Adviser and permanent representative at United Nations, was considered as one of the most powerful men in Indian politics. He belongs to a political family and his father was former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh. In the year 1991, Brajesh Mishra joined BJP and resigned in 1998. He resigned in 1998 to become principal secretary of then prime minister of India Atal Bihari Wajpayee. He was one of the closest aid of Atal Bihari Wajpayee. Later on, he was made the National Security Adviser in Wajpayee government. He played a crucial role in Kargil conflict and Pokhran Nuclear bomb testing. Many people says that he was more powerful than the cabinet and Atal Bihari Wajpayee used to listen to his remarks and advises.
According to doctors, Brajesh Mishra was suffering from heart ailment and it can be one of the reason for the death. Today, he was going to celebrate his 84th birthday. He will be remembered as James Bond of Indian Politics.
