Veena Malik's latest controversy!!

Veena Malik, the queen of controversies in Pakistan is back with another controversy and this time whole Pakistan is protesting against her. It is a journey of a girl, who used to wear burqas in her school and now posing naked in front of camera. Orthodox Islamists are willing to assassinate Veena Malik. A country like Pakistan which is right now hub for orthodox Islamists, and Talibani thinking is slowly and steadily eating up this nation from inside, can't digest a girl of their society posing nude for a Men's magazine.
It all started when Veena Malik came back to India to participate in her own Swayambar, a TV show by NDTV IMAGINE. She got an offer from FHM men's magazine for the photo shoot for their recent edition. She accepted it as she was getting a huge chance to showcase her beauty on international level plus a handsome amount was also paid for that. May be Veena Malik didn't expect that her countrymen will come to know about this photo shoot as, it was done in India. Recently, people in Pakistan came to know about this photo shoot, as one of the Pakistan's news channel broke news about her sensual photo shoot with FHM. Her countrymen were unhappy about this. Her father also said that, he disowned her, and she will not get a single penny from his family asset. I can understand feeling of a father, when her daughter's nude image is posted on news channel all over the country.
Veena Malik came up with a different story. She said that, she didn't pose nude for FHM and pictures published are fake. I feel FHM is such a reputable magazine and if Veena wasn't ready for photo shoot then they would have opted for any model of their choice, as no one will turn down such a offer to highlight herself on international platform as a model. Well, no one is buying her story, as the photographer himself kept on saying that Veena is not spiting out the truth.
This is not the first time that nude photographs of Veena came out in media and on world wide web. A decade back, she did a photoshoot for a french magazine, but when photo came on internet, she denied by saying that she never attended any such photoshoot.
Well Veena herself knows the truth, and I feel people in Pakistan are overreacting to the situation. An orthodox country on the name of culture is trying to stop empowerment of women. Already Pakistan has bad reputation on international platform. People of Pakistan should understand that, these issues are not serious one. They are facing serious challenges in their country than this. Pakistan right now is facing problem of poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, terrorism and empowerment of women in their society. If they will concentrate on an issue of nude photos then they are overlooking the main agendas which are preventing their own development.
